Adaptative GNSS receiver with open architecture
Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales CNES - 10/19/2016
Description
This invention is an open-source architecture of GNSS receiver that supports the management of functionality within a hypervisor. Using a hypervisor guarantees that the material resources needed for nominal operation of the receiver are not usable by the functionality tested, even in case of an increase in resource requirements.
Benefits
- Reduced development costs - Evolutive and secure system
Innovations
Innovative technology - Evolutive because the impact of a new function is controlled by the hypervisor - Secure because during operations, the hypervisor moni- tore the performance of different modules Open architecture - Can be used on its own hardware platform and adaptable to its needs - Can be used for developing its own software and material architecture
